Crafted with passion, our products reflect this beautiful region that we love. During the tasting you will live a sensorial journey. First, look at the colours, the texture… Then, enjoy the nose, the finesse and complexity of the aromas… Finally, the whisky will entirely reveal itself with additional flavours discovered by tasting.

ORGANIC EINKORN SPIRIT

A spirit of the scrubland

ENGRAIN is a spirit crafted with 100% organic einkorn originating from Haute-Provence. We exclusively use broken grains or granules resulting from the husking process of the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Haute-Provence einkorn.

The creation of this brandy is driven by our commitment to maintaining a strong connection between our products and the terroir of Provence, where the cereals have flourished. It is a tribute to the farmers and our desire to introduce einkorn to a wider audience. After several years of maturation in barrels, this new make spirit will evolve into our whisky.

No cold filtration or additives are used.

Alcohol content is 48%. Bottled in 50cl.

Available exclusively at the castle’s boutique. €45.

CHATEAU DU BARROUX ORIGINE

A beautiful olfactory palette

The ORIGINE whisky is made from minimum 70% einkorn, BIO certified.

  • We chose to preserve the original aromas of the einkorn by minimising the quantity of malt in this blend. In addition, barley can be used (maximum 30%).
  • This whisky is aged in carefully selected barrels that were previously used for local sweet wine ageing.
  • This whisky is non-chill filtered, without preservatives and its colour is natural.
  • Alcohol content: 46-48%.
  • 50cl bottle.

CHATEAU DU BARROUX MILLESIME 20 – –

A bouquet of memories

MILLESIME is a whisky made in the same way as our ORIGINE whisky but without a final blend. In addition, it was aged in new barrels at first. This whisky is produced from a single vintage of cereals.

The creation of this whisky is lead by our desire to maintain the strong link with the products and terroir of Provence.
It is a tribute to the local farmers and the opportunity to develop the visibility of the einkorn.
We crafted this vintage whisky as a souvenir of the past year.

  • This whisky is aged in new barrels with delicate toasting, to preserve the authenticity of the spirit.
  • This whisky is made from a single batch, the cask number and vintage are written on the bottle.
  • This whisky is non-chill filtered, without preservatives and its colour is natural.
  • The alcohol content may vary between 45 and 55% depending on the batch.
  • 50cl bottle
